A comparison of the newer sleeper "Twillingate" (National Steel Car 1938), and clerestory-roofed wood sleeper "Codroy". The "Twillingate" still exists, and is part of the passenger train display at the railway museum in Corner Brook. Displays include a full passenger train headed by 4-6-2 #593, and a snowplow train with GM NF210 #931. [www.inspirock.com]

Sleeper "Lewisporte" being delivered from National Steel Car in 1930.

Sleeper "Grand Falls" was built by National Steel Car in 1928

"Grand Falls' brings up the markers on eastbound train 2, the "Caribou", that has just arrived at the handsome stone station in St. John's.
