Well, John -
Since the event is so popular that tickets are nearly sold out before they are even on sale, perhaps you should consider extending it for a few days — assuming that, with more than half a year lead time to make arrangements, delaying the returning home of Eureka and Glenbrook by a week or so shouldn't be too big a deal.
Another consideration is that Tuesday, September 1, 2020, will be the exact 50th Anniversary – day and date – of the arrival in Antonito of the first shipment of locos and cars sold to the C&TS by the D&RGW. During the following few days in 1970 the mostly-volunteer crews completed restoration of the tracks sufficiently to allow equipment to be moved and stored westward along the line to make room for additional deliveries to Antonito, culminating with the arrival of engine #483 and a few cars in Chama on the evening of Sunday, September 6. Painting up locomotive #489 to stand in for #483 as she appeared in 1970 shouldn't be too difficult; pp. 62-73 of Terry Ross' book on the beginnings of the C&TS can provide information as to any equipment needed in addition to caboose #0503 to replicate some of the operations that week; the chase trains for Phraud-O-Graphers could be powered by Eureka & Glenbrook on one day and by #168 and/or #425 on another to provide some additional photo opportunities for those who have missed out on your late August events
