While John is curious about when the D&RGW painted it grey, I am curious to know if the OY or OM ever ran under the C&TS ownership with Rio Grande on it. All the times I have seen it they lettered it C&TS. However some time after 1997, it was cleaned up for display and Rio Grande was put on it. The logic was that it was a historic piece of equipment and not part of the daily operations. So has it ever run as Rio Grande OY since 1962(Last run on D&RGW whenever that was)?
