Carlos is a great guy who is very enthusiastic about his work on the C&TSRR.
A guest I had met while working the train as a docent once asked me about westbound coal consumption for a magazine article he was preparing about his visit to the railroad. I tried many sources without finding an answer and finally emailed Carlos. He and his fireman, Ronnie, actually counted shovels of coal between Osier and Cumbres for me!
I look forward to seeing the site up and running under Carlos' care; I am sure he will do a great job documenting the shop work and educating us about maintaining steam locomotives.
