Take a look at the photo in the original post on December 29 “Swinging Aboard the Narrow Gauge” and you will see what looks like a Wig Wag Signal on what I think is the State St. crossing in Alamosa. Post contributor Sharrod commented on this. Trying to enlarge the image on this tablet only gets more blurry. Magnetic Signal manufactured their Magnetic Signalman product for a lot of USA railroads and lists the D&RGW as a customer in their product brochure. Does anyone remember Wig Wags in use on the D&RGW system? I remember the Wig Wag signal on US 287 North of Broomfield on the C&S/BNSF, (now at CRRM) but don’t recall photos of them in other locations in Colorado, especially the D&RG.
