Basically there appears to be a major disruption between Sibambe and Bucay, and a lesser problem somewhere between Riobamba and Quito. The basic point is both sources agree that there is no through rail service again. Perhaps the more interesting issue is how much work was done on the steam engines, and how long will they be around. In a way it sounds like the G&Q has returned to "normal" after a major one time infusion of capital that is not producing much in the way of cash flow to keep things going.
