It amazes me what got built for movies on location. Two springs ago, my wife, kids and I were at Zion Park in Utah. As a fan of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance KId, I wanted to see Grafton, the old ghost town that was used as the location of Etta Place's house. All the background buildings are still there, and we took pictures in spots Neuman, Redford, and Ross had posed back in the '60s. But one thing was missing- Etta Place's house itself. After visiting there, and then watching the movie, I surmised the house must have been built as part of the movie set, and was built on what is the road into Grafton. There is no trace of that house, yet everything else is there!
