Not sure about Alamosa but as to Durango the Silverton Mixed leaves during most of its life at 9:15 AM and the San Juan left at 11:15. Train 461 earliest train on the track next to the station, Train 116 later train on the second track. Careful of that "always" word ( and "never" too - LOL ). Many stations used more than just the closest track to the station for regular service. That's why the platforms go out and include the second track and the third track as well.
