From March 1, 2020 through February 28, 2022, all dates will fall on the same day of the week that they did fifty years ago.  The first shipment of D&RGW equipment sold to the C&TS arrived in Antonito on Tuesday, September 1, 1970 and the fiftieth anniversary of the arrival in Antonito of the first D&RGW equipment sold to the C&TS will be Tuesday, September 1, 2020.  IIRC, The C&TS first excursion, the "Governors' Special" (which neither governor attended), was run on Sunday, October 4, 1970, and the fiftieth anniversary thereof (should anyone want to celebrate it), will be on Sunday, October 4, 2020.  Extra 483 East (on which some friends and I served as members of the crew) ran on Friday, October 16, 1970, so I will try to remember to have a bottle of GRAMPS Chromo Crude Triple Chocolate Stout (with capsaicin) as part of my evening meal on Friday, October 16, 2020 in commemoration thereof.    

Note also that the phases of the moon and the positions of the various planets within the Twelve Houses of the Zodiac during 2020-21 will NOT match their 1970-71 relationships . . .
