Heavy repairs on WW&F #10 are progressing along. You are correct: anything that moves that should move is getting checked and bushed and fixed; anything that moves that should not move is getting repaired and reinforced; and everything else outside of the boiler is getting worked on as well.
We are pushing to get it in service by the summer season.
The new stack has been placed on the new smokebox, which is currently attached (without boiler) to the cylinder saddle. Smokebox ring still needs to be rivetted in.
We are working on a pattern for a new headlight, as the old one is quite ratty (probably the original from 1904).
I think (not 100% sure) that the new drive axle boxes are done or very very close. We've been working on those since May.
Brake cylinder is being moved from under the front of the boiler over the rear drivers to under the cab behind the boiler.
Cab floor supports are on the frame, but no floor will go on until the boiler is on the frame.
Website should really have some updates on it, but as one of the guys at the railroad said to me, "since you got married the website doesn't get touched much." Alas it's true.
