The view with the Silver Vista could date from 1947

The Silver Vista was put in service June 1947

I don't have the first trip Alamosa to Durango at hand however
The Silver Vista was part of the San Juan consist on:
June 8-9 1947 Durango Alamosa, Alamosa Durango
June 15-16 1947 Durango Alamosa, Alamosa Durango
June 22 1947 used on a special on Silverton Branch
July 6-7 1947 Durango Alamosa, Alamosa Durango
July 13-14 1947 Durango Alamosa, Alamosa Durango, this in connection with the Nolan Black group.
