493 Update

Work continues on 493 in the Durango & Silverton NG Railroad roundhouse and shop. The tender is out of the paint shop and looking great and the cab has been painted. When she is taken out for her test runs, I will do articles for TRAINS Magazine and the Rio Grande Modeling & Historical Society Prospector magazine documenting her D&RGW history and the rebuilding since the start.
