The second car is not a passenger car. It's one of three cars built by Jackson and Sharp for the D&RG for use in a special train by the general manager and other dignitaries. We know that it was used by William Henry Jackson during some of his travels photographing for the D&RG. One of the cars was a parlor car, now the Edna at Knott's Berry Farm. Ours was built as a kitchen/commissary car, later converted to a railway post office car, and finally as a bridge crew bunk car. Tentative plans are to eventually restore either as the kitchen car or as a RPO car, but not a priority for now. Might sell it if the right offer comes along. The 252 is the priority.
