Re: Passenger car at Ridgway

There was a change of ownership while 0252 was at Trout Lake. The car was sold to a schoolteacher in Utah .I'm not aware who sold/brokered it when it went to Durango, .Don Shank then ended up with it,
before it changed hands again before going to Ridgway.
Not bragging, but I was very fortunate to have a vacation trailer about 400' north of the coach at Trout Lake for 15 odd years. Just south of 0252's location sits the RGS Matterhorn section house. It's still there. Both my trailer and the section house were moved to the Trout Lake sites in the 50's by the Kendrick family out of Farmington.NM
