Beautiful pictures of 168. I think we live in the best of times, railroading wise. Not only do we have locomotives like the 168 running, but also Eureka, Glenbrook, CRRM engines, D&S, C&TS, but we have all the way up to the gigantic 4014 as well. This week 4014 came through Las Vegas and Ed Dickens invited me into the cab for a visit. What a magnificent machine. That afternoon when I came home, I went out to my shop and climbed into Eureka's cab to do some work. Then it struck me how lucky we are today to have what we have in operation. Everything from Old Ironsides (the locomotive in Smithsonian) and the John Bull through 4014. It is a great time to be around !
