Scanning through the hundreds of photos on RP.net, a few folks have managed to get some decent smoke, but perhaps the best plumes were the steam plumes in the early morning. I only chased for 3 days, and this was about the best that I could do for smoke. Looks like the Fireman cracked the firing lever just a tad as she went by me.
