Grand Canyon have eight set steam days a year for which one is plenty. 29 will be available for a Form 4 if they need it.
The Great Smokey Mountains has Southern Railway 722. Would it be more beneficial to spend 1/2 a million to buy another locomotive, a good chunk to move it for it to only be operable until 2022? Or would it cost the same to restore a locomotive they already own and have 15 years of life?
I would love for somebody to donate a @#$%& ton of money to the Oklahoma Railway Museum so that they could buy and operate 18. Stillwater Central might allow special OKC-Tulsa trips a couple times a year.
