Porter #6536 was purchased by Bill Oden of Short Line Enterprises in Rancho Cucamonga when it left Canada in 1973. I spotted it stored in a storage enclosure when I used to run my motorcars on their leased track. I let Bobby Bancock know about it and he purchased the locomotive in 1976.
Orginal member of engine crew, North County, Pacific and Creek Railroad. Conductor, Pacific Coast Railroad at the Santa Margarita Ranch. Retired Firefighter, Collector of RGS memorabilia, and narrow gauge toys.
