My boss used to do that informally with small groups. I don't know if he still does. The Saturday before tax day was the day to do it, decent weather, but no leaves out yet. I was up there in mid summer once, and you can stand between the rails and never know that there was a railroad anywhere near by, the foliage is so thick.
