Used to take the family down for their fall spectacular almost every year. It made a great extended weekend and the kids liked the motel swimming pools - plus the trains of course....
We toyed with going down again this fall to see what things are like now, but darn we won't be able to attend the event. Should be good, and is a fundraiser I gather.
Here's a couple shots of 17 from 40 years ago - my favorite engine there and was thrilled when they got it running.
