Continuing our journey: about 1/4 mile west of the main spur heading downhill was another spur that was un-mapped:
We are looking west. My wife is on the mainline heading out to Granite Creek Gap.
I followed this spur and found it headed in a northwest for about 400 feet, dropping down to a small saddle, then climbing up the other side for about 100 feet. Here's a photo from the saddle looking back towards the mainline:
This is one of the longest spurs I have found that wasn't mapped...

There wasn't much in the way of artifacts: some wire rope and this rail joiner:
I returned to the mainline and we continued west.
