Thanks for spotting my error, SBA. At least I got the picture right 
If I had just noted that the return view showing the rock formations was nearly at the end of the "roll" that matched the upgrade view with the abandoned bridge pier which of course is upstream of Gorge Siding. Duh.
And I can also say I was the Fireman on the last shunting of Gorge Siding in the early 80's (in the Manawatu Gorge, that is)
