My thoughts exactly, when I saw this article. This fire started around 5PM, so any train activity would be returning to Durango. Anyone who has chased such trains knows full well that they are just loafing into town and that is not the type of operation that tends to throw a lot of hot cinders. Unfortunately, the folks who write such stories typically have little technical knowledge to support their claims.
