There is a post from Earl, on one of the K-37 threads IIRC, that lists the last dates the D&RGW used various engines. (I wrote the dates down but that notebook is still in a box somewhere...) At any rate, 494 & 495 were used, again IIRC, up until sometime in late '63 or early '64. They were retired about the time the Grande quit running trains in winter.
