Would have been 319/320, the Montrose section of the Mountaineer (19/20 overnight Denver-Grand Jct-Montrose via the Moffat Route) which cam off Between Grand Jct & Montrose in June of '52.

Appears to be #784, a T-28 (4-6-0) which, IIRC, was the last of the class and was scrapped in 1948 or '49. At any rate, the last 700's were all scrapped before 1950.
D&RG(W) only had 6 4-6-2's (class P-44 in '24), I forget their original numbers (1100-1105?) in 1912 but they were 800-805 from 1924 until they were scrapped in the early 1950's.
