Though I did not get a photo, work on the inspection pit in stall 3 of the roundhouse was going on as well. A 1935 date nail was found in the timber at the end of the pit, indicating that the C&S put quite a bit of work into the roundhouse in 1935, just to abandon the line in 1937.
On Friday the crane that unloaded RGS 256 was used to relocate the Colorado & Northwestern cardbody from the center of the yards to a new home in front of the body of C&S standard gauge boxcar 13121. We now have stand ins for two of the three carbody sheds that were once in this location
