Warm weather on May 15 brought the Cataract Creek waterfall to a strong flow as 480 passes the fall with the second train from Silverton

Three days later, on May 18, conditions were significantly colder, although warm enough to melt most of the 2 inches of over-night snow by the time 486 brought the second train into Silverton

486 is about to reach the end of track in Silverton

A substantial crowd is leaving the train for the many delights of Silverton, which for some is probably finding a nice place to warm up
