Given all that above, it's really kind of amazing that the T-12s survived as long as they did. I'm guessing they could hustle when they needed to??? Or at least compared to a c-16 or equivalent?
If I'm not mistaken, the soak mudhens were sidelined before the last of the t-12s. Seems to me one of those could do a bit more than a t-12. But it couldn't run to Lake City
