Any left over funding will go into spare components specific to the engine. Items such as a spare 9.5” compressor are helpful to eliminate down time in case of failure. And remember, the project is not done yot and anything can still happen! Good project management requires a somewhat conservative approach, “you are late until you are early, and you are over budget until you are done.”
