Years ago, inside the Chama Bank was a collection of Frank Berry photos. The were big enlargements 15X20 or so. One that always fascinated me was a high angle shot of an eastbound at Lobato. I could never understand how he got that without climbing a tall tree or flying by in an airplane. There are no longer any tall trees at that location. Sometime later I found a picture taken looking the other way and there was a dead standing tall spruce tree in the back ground. I suspected that Mr. Berry climbed that tree to get his photo. Thanks to Olaf, my suspicions are confirmed.
When former C&TS Manager Joe Vigil retired from his directorship at the Bank, he got custody of the prints. For a while they graced the walls of the dining room at Osier. I wonder whatever happened to them.
