Olaf, I think that the guy on the right is Denys Ferrari, the engineer. That's a pot of mate' in his right hand.
He was our engineer on an early 1977 trip with John West & George Werner. John took my picture standing with him.
Those little Henschels had a really different throttle arrangement. A lever was mounted on the backhead, I remember no
intermediate notches. It rotated in an arc across the backhead from about 6 o'clock to 4 o'clock. When starting a train,
you had to hold it open for awhile as you shortened the cutoff. When you had it where you felt it should be, you then pulled
the throttle lever up towards you and got it in the wide open notch.
