Not exactly, Craig -
IIRC, the REAL saga of the Georgetown Loop was covered in two or three long threads over three or four years, with most of the posts therein being made by former employees who were following the action and reporting on the ineptitude of the State Histœrical Society and their incompetent hirelings who nearly destroyed the RR. The "demented Californian" referred to by Earl (above) later prepared a satirical screenplay in the spirit of
'A Ticket to Tomahawk' in which the names were changed to protect the non-so-innocent.* The latter included the re-naming of the railroad to "The Georgianatown Loop-de-Loop" in honor of Georgiana Condi-Google-Eyes, a principal member of the Histœrical Society who was one of the primary instigators of the fiasco.
