In the big picture I would guess stock movements would be rather small tonnage numbers. By this time the business was pipe and drill mud going west, lumber and oil going east, along with a bit of coal. I imagine hauling empties around doesn't count. I'm surprised at the amount of difference between westbound traffic east and west of Chama, as one would have thought the pipe and mud would be going all the way to Farmington, and little if any westbound traffic would go only as far as Chama. The fact that half of what went west of Chama ended up in Durango and didn't go to Farmington is a puzzle as well.
