I just looked through the Dorman Collection on Eng 268 and it appears that the bell disappeared after 1954 and was not on the engine for the cleanup and dismantling of the Sapinero and Crested Butte Branches. The later display at Gunnison seems to suggest that a smaller non railroad bell was put in its place. The cylinder on the pilot works the Priest Flanger.
