Good Idea, John -
But if you REALLY want to diminish traffic on this site, why not suggest banning ALL words that are in such sources as Merriam-Webster, Oxford Dictionaries, Collins English Dictionary, Cambridge English Dictionary, etc. Oh, and don't forget all the Langenscheidts two-language dictionaries as well – that would eliminate wasteful off-topic conversations with our friends Christian, Edvard der Oilkannisterr,* Urias et al. Since "A picture is worth 1,000 words" we wouldn't miss much — everyone could just post photos without having to anguish over identifying who or what is in them as, without words, there would be no captions to worry about
