GE recently announced the sale of five meter-gauge C-C diesels for operation on the private transport provider FCAB (Ferrocarril de Antofagasta) in Chile that connects with Bolivia. These are listed as being model number C23EMP using the GE FDL 12-cylinder engine. These are to be built at the Brazilian plant.

The same model has already been sold to the Ferrovías de Bolivia,

These are probably closer to the needs of the White Pass, etc. than the ES43BBi.
