The two 4-8-2's had wheelbases of 60' 3" and 61' 2". i believe some locomotives were built with the rear tender truck farther forward than normal for turntable clearance. That would probably allow these to fit on a 60' turntable. Could the D&RGW NG turntables be turned with a locomotive that couldn't be moved for balance?
