Who is the controlling authority who would make this determination? The commission?
It seems that long before any such plans of this sort can be made, an extensive and exhaustive study must be made which details all facets of the project, including all costs and the permanent loss of two historically significant artifacts.
I, for one, have concerns and reservations about such a scheme. I hope there are others who share my view. This is not to say I can't be persuaded into supporting the project, but I am far from it today.
One positive thing that comes to mind would be the availability of a tender for the 498. I'm still trying to think of another.
