I forgot about Tasmania they are or were using our Diesels after the Wisconsin Central crowd moved in. Some of our DC's went there. Not certain if Tassie is even running that rail system now.
Just think if Palmer had holidayed in NZ instead of Wales( who would have steered him clear of the Brits anyway) and built 3ft6in then maybe (assuming we can get past the US obsession with dividends) the D&RGW would have made the NG lines pay and those wonderful G-12's and U-26C's would be roaming the Four Corners hauling freight as God intended.
