Since the announcement indicates they will be making significant improvements to the port to enable the next gen cruise ships to dock, they are obviously looking at increasing passengers traffic. Is there anything to prevent them from standard gauging the line? Three foot gauge diesels are hard to find and generally require a lot of rebuilding when found. They could standard gauge the line, increase capacity and reduce costs at the same time. I'd hate to see this happen, but they are a cruise line, not a heritage operation.
