These three pix suggest an interesting photo op for a fall phraud-o-freight. The first is genuine DRGW from 1964. The second and third are C&TS taken within the past five years and suggest how one might recreate the first image, and perhaps even improve on it with some fall color. It is an interesting example of what is at least theoretically possible on the C&TS 50 years after the last real freight moved. But there are interesting challenges: how to get the photographers in position without using up too much time, not make a way too long backup move, and doing all that when the lighting is good. Probably not practical, but fascinating that it is even possible today. Truly an amazing preserved railway, both in terms of so much detail and vast scale.
