I understand the need for both engines going back East with the lumber loads but it must have been difficult to maintain an even speed with the two together and essentially no train. When I was railroading I always prefered a substantial train over running light. I thought it might be like the helpers leaving other trains after making the summit where they leave in 5 minute intervals. smiling smiley JP
