I am surprised! However, I have been talking to some friends on Newfoundland (on their Facebook page) who are trying to preserve what is left of the railroad & equipment. As a result, I became interested in the railway there, & its operations. I have picked up a few books on the lines, but these vehicles are not in ANY of them! Having operated the East Broad Top M-1, I see a family resemblance, so I am wondering if these cars are possibly Brill cars, similar to the one restored at Laws, California? I doubt if they are gas-electrics, but they could be gas mechanicals, as similar ones were also sent to Australia, if I recall. Fascinating!
