Thanks for the map, Tony. I drove over to Crestone a few years ago, and was unable to find anything hinting of a RR. Next time I'll take a copy of the map and look harder. Although not much is likely to be found a century after the abandonment of a very marginal branch.

Thanks for the ICC info, Hank. The RR was careful to minimize their potential losses. There appears to be no economic reason now for Crestone's continued existence, except for a real estate development of vacation homes.
