481 was towed in the train that was pulled by 483 and 473 in December 1968(Last NG train out of Alamosa). I have never seen a shot of 481 outside the shop. I saw it in the shop, pretty much all done, in June 1968. I am wondering if this was late in the year just before they were putting together the last train. Otherwise why not leave it inside, as it never ran until 1981 on the Silverton line.
