Re: VNG diesels...Queensland sugar cane lines

Great stuff! Love those cane lines. I was first introduced to them when I was over there ~25 years ago, and wish I'd spent more time photographing them then. I got a few shots, but was traveling with my parents at the time (I was ~16ish) and they had things on the itinerary that weren't "spend a few days railfanning this random cane railway we came across." Besides, later that day it was off to the beach, and my teenage brain quickly switched back from Australian narrow gauge to Australian girls.

One of these days I'll go back. It's good to see that unlike in other parts of the world, the cane railways are still up and running.
