There's a reason why people pay between 3 and 7 grand for a camera body. The folks who do typically have the background and experience to make use of such a camera, and they want the control, the flexibility and the image quality that a camera like that can provide. For once-in-a-while, point-and-shooters, a camera like a D850 would be massive overkill.

The only thing that sucks is the knowledge that in 3-4 years, the market value of the thing will be so small that it will be worth more to you to keep than to sell and try to trade up. Unfortunately, cameras depreciate much faster than other things, like cars.
