Great shot John. You guys were blessed with not only cold and snow, but great lighting. I hope you were able to nail a few more between Chama and where the helper came off. Interestingly in this shot, the 480 as helper had no pilot plow. It appears though the flanger below the pilot is working, unless I am seeing steam from the cylinder. Remember John how we experienced the engine flanger at Osier in 1997 during some plowing!!??
Hope you can post a shot or two more of this day. Cold weather like this is the right recipe for great steam shots.
