Now I see. I had seen these shots before, but only in Black and White. I remembered the roof-top shots, but for some reason thought it was east of Sublette. I see now it is after the color one that you posted now. I do like the color one better than any of them, but agree the going is nice and unique as you say. However, I would take the color one over it for so many reasons. Very sharp, good color, both engines are pretty clear, high elevation, train coming toward you, and nice smoke. This would make a good cover shot. I only wish I had some freight scenes with 483 and 484 to match this. Kudos for walking around there from Sublette after the water stop to get these last 1968 freight scenes!!!! I do not remember seeing this shot posted in color before!!! Very nice indeed. Thanks to Rich for starting this thread so I could enjoy the photo!!! Been scripting the 4th Division video here tonight. Waiting on a couple of reels of 16mm 1967 film to get here and transfer before finishing it up!!! Good news cause its new footage and I have two reels from this guy already and the quality is wonderful!!! Can't wait to see it myself---Like Christmas morning seeing new stuff!!! Hope many of our customers feel the same way when they watched the finished shows.
Cheers,
Greg
