The few ties we have found are on tracks that have not yet been rebuilt, so they have been marked and left in place. They are too far gone to be reused, but we will endeavor to leave them in place if and when the track they are on gets rebuilt. We do uncover a fair amount of original spikes during track construction and tend to reuse most of them. Then we can say the track is a "restoration" since it contains original parts
